C Bush writes mostly about modern literature, film, and sports culture. He watches Pardon the Interruption most days and is not related to the current president of the United States.

E Hayot writes about video games, the Western experience of Chineseness, the disastrous war in Iraq, and the teaching of literature. He recently got a new pair of glasses.

S L Kim is figuring out what she writes about as she goes. When she’s not watching TV, she teaches critical thinking skills (and writing!) to college freshmen. She likes yoga despite herself.

K Klingensmith writes about photography, film and the wayward course of American politics. She is probably walking her dog. She is currently on a Printculture hiatus.

J Lee writes about parenting, traveling, and ex-pat life. She spends her days refereeing light saber duels and planning her next coffee fix.

H Saussy admires bicycles, languages, music and ethical systems, but never to the point of being totally confident that they will work. His goal is to write in emulation of the best design features of all four.

M Massino writes about what she's supposed to whenever she can manage it. She is most likely looking for quarters to finish her laundry.

S Shirazi writes about music and television. First album purchased? AC/DC. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. LP. Atlantic, 1981.

E Wesp writes about American literature, history and video games. He is currently watching Mr. Show (hopefully).

Printculture is a collaborative, daily blogzine whose meaning and value are still being worked out by the editors. New entries appear Mondays through Fridays. We publish extra musings and reader letters in the Offset Blog. Occasional guest bloggers post in the main blog, usually on weekends.

Clicking on an author's name takes you to a page with that author's most recent entries and comments. Clicking on a category (listed at the top of each entry) takes you to a list of all entries in that category.

In order to comment, you must become a member (this is to prevent comment spam from casinos and the like). The commenting function expires once an entry is two weeks old, also in order to prevent comment spam--comments made after two weeks will be reviewed before appearing. We reserve the right to delete comments but hope we don't have to.

Once a month, a meta-blog post will appear in the Offset area. If you have suggestions for the site or ideas about how we can improve, please let us know there.

If you write to us, please tell us how you would like your letter signed (full name, initials, pseudonyms), and if you're currently reading, watching, listening to or playing anything interesting. We may edit letters for length.

Becoming a member allows you to log in to your account via the "Admin Area" link at the top left of each page. There, you can change your display name, password, email address, and URL. You can also review, edit, or delete your comments, or add an image and a longer paragraph about yourself. Anyone who clicks on your name when it appears in a comment of yours will see your member page, featuring your image, paragraph, and your most recent comments on Printculture.
